Help Apollo Find A Home

Apollo is a 9 month old mixed breed male who was abandoned at a firehouse in Coney Island.  He is underweight and is recovering from a minor surgery, but is in otherwise perfect health.  Despite his difficult beginnings, Apollo is a friendly, spirited soul who loves giving kisses and cuddles in your lap, tug of war, sleeping next to your feet, and chasing anything that scurries or flies.

Apollo gets along well with dogs, but will need more socialization to be around small children and other animals.  He is currently learning puppy basics, such as  going potty outside, leash manners, recall, sit and stay.  

He would be most at home with a family that can give him lots of attention, stability, and training; as he does have some prey drive and separation anxiety issues.  With some TLC, this loving, sweet little boy will flourish.
